History:
The Blackbear Cemetery lies directly across
the road from the Blackbear Church. The age of the cemetery is not
exactly clear. Many of the headstones do not have dates or are not
marked at all. The ones that are marked date back to the early 1890s.
One notable grave is marked simply "Unknown Cowboy." As of the writing
of this report, the team is not aware of any specific paranormal activity
associated with the cemetery, but given the history of the church across the
road and the team having investigated there, it was worthy of an
investigation.
Initial Walkthrough:
East Side:
Temperature: 86.9
Humidity: 72%
No anomalous activity reported. Many of
our pictures contained false positives just like the one below, because of
the large number of insects in the air.

West Side:
Temperature: 86.9
Humidity: 72%
No anomalous activity reported.
Second Walkthrough:
No changes noted. No anomalous activity
noted.
Stationary Study At Grave of Unknown
Cowboy:
No changes from baselines noted. No
anomalous activity noted.

Conclusions:
Although we had heard reports of EVPs
recorded at the grave of the Unknown Cowboy, we were unable to obtain them
ourselves. We witnessed no activity we would deem to be paranormal.
This was a very quiet and very interesting historical cemetery. Of
course, older cemeteries are always interesting. It is likely we will
return to this cemetery at some point, due to its close proximity to the
Blackbear Church.
